USEFUL INFO FOR SELECTING "WATERPROOF" DECK MEMBRANES

Waterproof deck membranes must remain flexible for 20+ yrs or inspectors will not approve them!
TUFFLEX has no solvents so it can be applied over top of vinyl or fiberglass etc to save labour costs!

Products that come in rolls like vinyl are glued down & fail because they don't like to bend up walls & around posts. This is where they leak and Fiberglass has no flexibility so it cracks when wood expands & contracts.
Torch-On SBS rubber rolls are flame applied and were really designed to be only used on roofs, not sun decks.
(After years of Govt. red tape & testing we are at the final stage of obtaining all Canadian CCMC approvals)
