If we can't find or fix the problem we do not charge.
If the job is too big for our min/max limits we don't charge
then we send you a quote & what is needed.. 
The min charge is $100 &  maximum is $250 (Tax is extra)
We mail an invoice & you pay a cheque or Credit Card

RE-POINTING & RE-BUILDING BRICK MASONRY WORK

25 years experience re-building and
re-pointing chimneys.

CHIMNEY REPAIR TIPS:

Re-Pointing means you thoroughly grind out decayed mortar between the bricks until you reach solid mortar. Then a special re-pointing tool is used to pack in new mortar (not concrete).

Re-Building means dismantling the old brick chimney and re-assembling the chimney with all new mortar. Sometimes old bricks can be re-used or we supply new bricks.

Be sure you hire someone who will properly grind out the old mortar flush between the top & bottom of the bricks. This is critical or the new mortar will simply fall our due to a poor bond thus wasting your money.
It is critical to make certain the  proper mortar mix is used (Not just a Concrete Mix!).
Also have the porous bricks & new mortar treated with a cementicious waterproofing.
